WHAT IS THIS K…POP?! I love the nineties–the era, and precisely in thirty-five years, this September 29, 2026, the age. But thanks to my upcoming Fantabulous! queer mystery series set at a gay bar in 1990s Venice, CA, I forget the here and now. Against my usually accepting family’s objections, I visited a childhood summer haunt, Sea-Tac Mall, now The Commons. Sure, flirt with the gay guys at Target, but don’t cross into the mall-mall itself! It’s so <insert eye roll>. So much for tolerance, huh? How would I have discovered K…POP?
